Leaders from two of the nation’s most innovative technology research laboratories will be the keynote speakers at the Rocky Mountain Advanced Computing Consortium’s 5th Annual High Performance Computing Symposium Aug. 11-13 at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Jacqueline Chen, Livermore, CA, a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at the Combustion Research Facility, Sandia National Laboratories, and Kaitlin Thaney, Brooklyn, NY, director of the Mozilla Science Laboratory, will present the keynote talks at the Symposium set for the Wolf Law Building on the CU-Boulder main campus.

The opening day of the Symposium features classes and tutorials to introduce attendees without any prior HPC experience to the basics of computational science and parallel computing, with hands-on sessions featuring lectures followed by hands-on exercises to practice the skills just learned.

Registration is now open. All participants must register by end of day Thursday August 6th. Any registrations after this date will be assessed a $25 late fee. Registration will be available on site for an additional fee.

The registration fee includes all conference materials, access to all sessions, and the following meals:

Tuesday- Afternoon break
Wednesday- Breakfast, Lunch, Breaks, and Reception with  hors d'oeuvres.
Thursday- Breakfast, Lunch, and Breaks

This year's fee also includes access to a half-day of beginner tutorials on Tuesday August 11th.

Full Registration- $150
Thursday Tutorials Only- $100
Student Registration- $30
Postdoc- $75

Parking can be added for an additional fee of $9.00 per day.
